The Gallery of Jeweled Breasts; Adversities, Strength and Empowerment

Being a woman, a molecular oncologist and a person who was touched by several cancer manifestations in her own family, Dorit felt a unique special binding to cancer and to breast cancer specifically. Her women are carrying their beautiful scar on their proud breasts, with dignity and strength, characters that Dorit associates with women.

Since Dorit is fascinated and captured with the subject of women, their strength, the adversities that they face during their lives and the empowerment that they acquire while battling harsh times and events, her paintings are a show case of those latter inner feelings .

Thus her women, all colors, races and kinds, are always strong and harbor an inner beauty and strength....also with their lovely Scar on their feminine breast . One of the paintings that can be viewed in the Gallery of Jeweled Breasts Sample, is called " A Bouquet..." and is actually symbolizing the artist`s , Dorit, thoughts regarding women`s breasts, thus viewed by her as a beautiful bouquet of flowers, each different and unique, carried proudly on the stem of life; the long elegant neck characteristic to her women that are while strong, are feminine each in her way...and vulnerable...

Dorit has very strong feelings regarding the theme of strong women from a wide array of aspects: they are strong in their careers, they are strong when life is hard and adversities are encountered, they are strong for and with their families, simply, THEY ARE STRONG..especially when walking the difficult path of battling Cancer.

While walking the latter difficult path, A Scar on a woman's breast can bare harsh psychological effects.

Thus, the artist, Dorit, would like to share her Novel Concept of Transforming the Scar on women`s breast into a Jewel, with as many women carrying a Scarred Breast as possible, and thus provide them, their husbands, sisters, daughters and sons, with some what better feelings, psychological out look and thoughts of the Scar on their Breast and ultimately grant them some pride and confidence via this gallery "jeweled breasts"

The latter Novel Concept of transforming the Scar on women`s breasts into actually A Jewel, strengthens us all, along with these brave women from a new but well needed  aspect.
